What age is best for Invisalign First?

We recommend an evaluation by age 7 to determine the perfect timing for your child.
Will my child actually wear them?
Kids are often more compliant with Invisalign than parents expect! The aligners are comfortable and don’t interfere with their activities. Plus, Invisalign First includes compliance indicators (small blue dots that fade with wear) to help track usage. We also work closely with parents and children to set goals and celebrate progress along the way.
How long does treatment take?
Phase 1 treatment with Invisalign First typically takes 12-18 months, though this varies based on your child’s specific needs. Some children may need Phase 2 treatment when they’re older, but early treatment often makes Phase 2 shorter and simpler – and some kids won’t need Phase 2 at all!
What if they lose an aligner?
We understand that kids lose things – it happens! Replacement aligners are available if needed. The key is to contact our office right away so we can determine the best course of action, whether that’s moving to the next aligner, going back to the previous one, or ordering a replacement.

Invisalign First is specifically designed for children’s growing mouths. It includes special features like eruption tabs (spaces for teeth that haven’t come in yet) and compliance indicators.
